Lamons Gasket Company Awarded Five-Year Multi-Site Gasket and Fastener Contract By Valero Energy Corporation
BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich., Oct. 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- TriMas Corporation (NYSE: TRS) subsidiary Lamons Gasket Company has been awarded a five-year, multi-site contract to supply gaskets and fasteners to North America's largest refiner, San Antonio-based Valero Energy Corporation. These gaskets and fasteners are used on the processing equipment throughout all of Valero's refineries.
The five-year contract encompasses every one of Valero's 15 U.S. refineries plus facilities in Canada and Aruba.
"Lamons' ability to service the refineries locally through our network of branches plus the ability to supply both gaskets and fasteners played a big part in the Valero decision," said Richard Owen, president of Lamons Gasket Company.
Valero Energy Corporation is the largest refiner of crude oil in North America with production capacity in excess of 3 million barrels per day. The contract is the first of its kind for Valero and includes a Lamons e-catalog, which will be rolled out over the next few months.
