Trimas' Rieke Business Adds New Leadership to Accelerate Growth

BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich., Sept. 08, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- TriMas (NASDAQ:TRS), a diversified global manufacturer of engineered products, today announced that its Rieke business recently added three proven leaders to drive growth and innovative solutions for its customers.

In 2015, Rieke reorganized its business into the industrial, food & beverage, and health, beauty & home care end markets to better provide the breadth of its product portfolio and solutions to its customers. In connection with this change, Rieke has added Miren Salsamendi as vice president, Health, Beauty & Home Care (HBHC), and Bob Daniel as vice president, Food & Beverage. With extensive backgrounds, Salsamendi was most recently a global product and marketing director at DuPont, and Daniel was a vice president and general manager at Emerson. Another recent addition to Rieke's leadership team is David Jones, vice president, Business Development, who joins Rieke from Dialight.

"Rieke has a solid track record of performance within the TriMas family of businesses," stated Thomas Amato, president and chief executive officer of TriMas. "Leadership is a key component to our future success and we are excited to have Miren, Bob and David join our team."

Rieke also recently opened a Global Innovation Center near New Delhi, India. This center of excellence expands the size of Rieke's innovation and product development team, adding to its global base of engineering talent in Europe, North America and Asia. Additionally, Rieke opened a new facility in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, just north of Queretaro, to provide additional manufacturing capacity to support growth.

"Our recent organizational enhancements and investments in manufacturing and innovation position Rieke for future growth," said David Pritchett, president of Rieke. "We are focused on collaborating with our customers on new product concepts and reducing prototype to commercialization time, all to serve our customers' global needs."

Separately, in late June, Rieke moved its HBHC headquarters from Azuza, Calif., which was the prior location of the acquired Arminak & Associates business, to a new facility in Irwindale, Calif. Additionally, earlier this year, Helga Arminak departed Rieke to pursue other opportunities not related to Rieke and Arminak & Associates. "We wish Helga well in her next endeavor," said Pritchett.
