David M. Wathen began his career in 1977 at General Electric, where he started as a manufacturing engineer and later served in various capacities, including several managerial positions. He then held leadership roles at premier, industrial companies including Eaton, where he was CEO of a large free-standing subsidiary, as well as Allied Signal (which is now Honeywell) and Emerson Electric, where he served as the President of major divisions at each company. Most recently, David was President and CEO of the North American Operations of Balfour Beatty a leading, publicly-traded UK-based engineering, construction, services and investment company and he was responsible for running a business with over $1 billion in revenues and roughly 4,000 employees.
Mr. Zeffiro is responsible for the overall leadership within the financial function of TriMas including financial planning, external reporting, business analysis, treasury, tax and corporate capital.
Mr. Zeffiro has more than 20 years of financial, operational and business leadership experience with companies such as Black & Decker and General Electric. Prior to joining TriMas, Zeffiro served as Vice President of Finance for the Global Consumer Products Group of Black & Decker.
Mr. Zeffiro holds a Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Analysis from Bentley College.
Mr. Sherbin has overall responsibility for the strategic direction and coordination of TriMas legal activities worldwide.
Mr. Sherbin has more than 20 years of experience in law firm and corporate legal environments. From 1988-2005, Mr. Sherbin was the North American corporate counsel and corporate secretary for Valeo, a diversified international automotive supplier headquartered in Europe. Prior to joining Valeo, Mr. Sherbin was senior counsel and assistant corporate secretary for Kelly Services. He started his career in the business and corporate practice at the law firm of Butzel Long. Mr. Sherbin holds a BA from Kalamazoo College and a JD from Wayne State University.
Mr. Brooks is responsible for the business management of the Packaging Segment.
Prior to his current role, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Rieke Packaging Systems. Since joining Rieke in 1978, Mr. Brooks has served in a number of executive positions including Corporate Controller, Vice President and General Manager. Before joining Rieke, Mr. Brooks was a Certified Public Accountant with Ernst & Young in Toledo, Ohio and Ft. Wayne, Indiana.
Mr. Brooks holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Management from Tri-State University. He is also an active member of several trade associations in the packaging industry and sits on the Board of Directors of three corporations and banks in the Midwest.
Mr. Zalupski is responsible for the external financial reporting processes for the Company, as well as management of treasury, tax, and risk management functions.
Mr. Zalupski has more than 20 years of business and financial management experience. From 1998 to 2002, he was a partner at Arthur Andersen providing audit, business consulting and risk management services to clients in the manufacturing, defense and automotive supplier industries. Prior to 1996 he held various positions of increasing responsibility within the audit practice of Andersen serving publicly held clients in a variety of industries.
Mr. Zalupski holds a BBA degree in Accounting from the University of Michigan and is a CPA and CIA.
