TriMas' Lamons Gasket Company Soon Home to World's Largest Flag

BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich., July 1, 2010 /PRNewswire via COMTEX News Network/ -- TriMas Corporation (Nasdaq: TRS) - a diversified global manufacturer of engineered and applied products - today announced that its Lamons Gasket Company will soon be home to the world's largest American flag. Renowned New York artist, Scott LoBaido, is on schedule to complete the symbol of freedom on the rooftop of Lamons' world headquarters manufacturing facility in Houston, Texas. The building was selected because of its nearly 200,000 sq. ft. roof size, its close proximity to William P. Hobby Airport, and the patriotic pride and spirit of the company and its employees.

LoBaido started this hand-painted work of art on Flag Day, June 14, 2010, using 900 gallons of paint and covering a space the size of 2.5 football fields. The 3.5 acre painting is scheduled to be completed prior to Independence Day on July 4th. The Largest Flag Completion Celebration will take place on July 2, 2010 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Lamons Gasket Company at 7300 Airport Blvd., Houston, Texas.
